And the moment she stopped
Caring
All became blood red
Thick, dark, opaque.
Gaunt cheeks sit beneath
Glazed eyes
Looking desperately for an answer.
Black shadows intertwined with false hope.
Tainted.
An emptiness that eroded from within.
Internal, implicit, insignificant.
One more chance
Pleading
It was never meant to be this way
Bleak, dull, lifeless.
Flashes of blue, screams of sirens
Trying
It’s over- she’s gone
Love, hope and fear
Do not exist

Merely a concept.
